Home of John and Priscilla Alden.

I am the 14th Generation of grandchildren of John and Priscilla Alden. I am enormously proud of my heritage regarding Thanksgiving. Every year, I cook a turkey remembering that I descend from the original Feasters and one of the original women who cooked and served the meal.

John and Priscilla’s home is very well preserved. It is an established museum tended to by The Alden Kindred.  I and my three brothers bought bricks that lay in the walkway to the barn. They encircle a brick for my Grandmother Sara Kohler Balentine to celebrate her life. She asked me to carry on her genealogical work, so it seemed appropriate to celebrate her work within the walkway of an ancestor so prominent as the Aldens.

The museum home is located at 105 Alden St. Duxbury, MA 02331.
