Hello!
What a rich history. I am just retired nad finally jumping into this love of mine, family history. I have the Goulds on my list. I have bumped into varying information regarding my lineage to them. I will have updates when I do. I love discovering incidents of history, homes, statues that stand as they certainly bring the past to life.

Hello Cousin, my 9th great grandfather was Jeremiah Gould, who was Zaccheus Gould’s brother. He settled his family in Newport, Rhode Island and then returned to Bovingdon, Hertfordshire and died there. His son Daniel was tied to a gun carriage and whipped for being a Quaker on Boston Common in 1659.

I too am from Zacchaeus Gould line through my mother, but my father is also a Gould both lines meet back up in southern England. Priscilla Gould Wild is my ancestor 🙂 and her daughter Phebe Wilde Day.
